Place a Service Request in 3 Easy Steps

Follow this quick and easy guide below on how to place a service request with Btech.

When Should I Place a Service Request?

Btech’s ServiceDesk platform is the best way to ensure that all your needs will be addressed.  Whether you just have a quick question or require onsite support, you can place a service request for just about anything.  Unlike an email or phone call, service requests will never go unanswered or unresolved and you can check the status of your request at anytime.  If you aren’t familiar with Btech’s ServiceDesk, use this simple guide to get to know the platform…

Step 1… Log In

Log in to your account at https://servicedesk.btechonline.com
Login
If you do not know your login credentials, please let us know and we will reset them for you.

Step 2… Enter Your Request

Once you’re logged in, click on the Requests tab. Then, click the New Incident button on the top left to create a new service request. When you’re done, click Submit Request and Btech will be notified.
New Request
Your information, such as your name, company and contact information should automatically populate. If they do not, click on the My Details tab to complete your information. We highly recommend that you input your email address in order to be notified of any updates made to your request.

Step 3… Monitor Your Request

Click on the Request, Resolution, and History tabs to see any updates made to the request, including which technician was assigned. You may also Reply, add Notes, or Edit your request at any time and the technician will be notified of your changes.
Sumbit Request
If you have multiple service requests, return to the Requests page to view them all. Even after a service request is closed, it will still remain in your account for viewing.

Or… Send an Email

Another way to create a service request is to simply send an email to the support email address provided to your company. If you don’t know your support email address, let us know and we’ll be happy to provide it to you. The email automatically creates a new request and notifies us so there is no need to copy a technician on the email. To monitor your request, log in to the ServiceDesk platform by following the steps above.

That’s It!

Pretty easy, right? Btech’s ServiceDesk platform is a free tool that we encourage you to take advantage of. We hope that this quick step-by-step guide was helpful and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
